THE PROPERTY
 
Church Park is a south-facing detached traditional Gower cottage, situated in the centre of the village of Rhossili. 

 

The cottage was completely renovated recently to a very high standard. As part of the refurbishment work, the downstairs cloakroom and upstairs bathroom were completely replaced. It is furnished sympathetically with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture and retains many of its original features, including wood-panelled walls and ceilings and oak beams in some rooms. Oak flooring has been laid downstairs. There is gas fired central heating throughout the property and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room.

DOWNSTAIRS

 

  • The kitchen is fully equipped and has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumbler dryer, dishwasher and microwave.

  • The dining room has a large refectory table with six chairs. It has a gas fired cast iron stove. A door leads off the dining room to the sunny courtyard.

  • The spacious sitting room includes a wood burning stove. There is a flat screen HD TV, DVD player and WiFi.

  • The house can be accessed via the front porch or through the rear lobby, which has facilities for hanging coats and storing boots.

  • The main staircase leads upstairs from the front of the cottage. A secret staircase leads off the rear lobby.

  • There is a cloakroom with a wash hand basin, toilet and shower area.

  • A range of board games is provided and an extensive choice of reading material is available throughout the house, including a number of books about Gower and Gower Society publications.

 
UPSTAIRS

 

  • Bedroom One has a king sized bed, a vanity unit and a large fitted double wardrobe. 

  • Bedroom Two contains a double bed, a vanity unit and fitted wardrobe. 

  • Bedroom Three contains two adult bunk beds and a fitted wardrobe. 

  • The bathroom is spacious and has been completely renovated.

 
OUTSIDE
  • There is a south facing front garden and a sunny walled courtyard to the side of the property. A lockable shed is used to store patio furniture, a rotary washing line and a portable barbecue. It can also be used for equipment that guests might bring like surfboards and wetsuits.
